what happens to the flushed waste?

May be a sick question, but do you know how we take care of wastes after they are flushed from toilet? Do they go to Pacific or Atlantic ocean?
Does this mean that at least some of the water coming out of water faucets in our bathroom came out of our kidney?

Am I closer to London or New York if watch says 4pm London time but its noon in my location by the sun?

You’re ship wrecked & floating in the Atlantic Ocean somewhere between London & New York. You’re watch is still set for London time. It is noon by the sun at your location but your watch says it is 4pm in London. Are you closer to the U.S. or to England.

What is a nice family-friendly beach near Orlando?

We are going to Orlando with our kids for a Disney vacation, but also want to take them to the beach one day. Which beach do you recommend? We don’t mind the Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf side.

Good theoretical ways to punish people for crimes?

I’m helping my brother with a school project. We are doing something about “crime and punishment”. Anyway, would it be possible that with a giant slingshot, you could launch a person into space? I’m talking a really really big slingshot here. Like say for murder, the person guilty would be launched into space by a giant slingshot. It wouldn’t really be good if they didn’t make it all the way to space and ended up falling back down in another country or something. Of course the person wouldn’t live, but they could potentially hurt other people when they fall back down.

Also, is it possible for somebody to survive if they were taken by boat to the middle of the atlantic ocean, dropped in the water, and left there? Not tied to a rock or anything, just left to float around. I get the fact that the remains would probably turn up somewhere, but come on, this isn’t for real here.
